Now Ariana Madix embarks on a Broadway journey! The 38-year-old actress of Vanderpump Rules made her stage debut on Monday night on the Great White Way, where she played Roxie Hart in the Tony-winning, record-breaking production of Kander & Ebb’s Chicago.
People joined the event at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City, which drew a sizable audience that included both Bravo stars and fans. Lala Kent and Scheana Shay, Madix’s co-stars, were present in the crowd. Emerson Collins, the former host of People’s Couch, was also spotted in the crowd.
Tanya, Madix’s mother, was also present to support her daughter. She was seated next to Madix’s boyfriend, Daniel Wai. After the break up from ex-Tom Sandoval in March 2023, the two did not stay for long together.
Everyone glowed, Dancing with the Stars finalist, who wowed the audience with a performance that had the sophistication and dexterity of a Broadway pro. As the curtain closed, she was showered with standing ovations and grinned broadly for the audience while taking her bows.
Madix achieved a long-term goal on Monday.
She studied musical theater at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, before becoming well-known on reality TV. After graduating, she moved to New York City with the hopes of getting a part in a Broadway production.
Madix took up bartending to fulfill the daily needs and she continued the job after deciding to go to Los Angeles in order to establish her reputation in the film industry.
She obtained employment there at SUR “Sexy Unique Restaurant,” a bar that would serve as the backdrop for Lisa Vanderpump’s Rules spinoff from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
