Two Colombian musicians, “Maluma and J Balvin” are back together. The second joint album by the two Colombian musicians is now available. The two released “Gafas Negras” on Friday, one week after their 2019 hit song “Qué pena.”
The two musicians announced their new collaboration on Thursday night through a joint Instagram post that featured a first look at the opening few seconds of the music video.
Maluma captioned the photo, saying, “BLACK GLASSES IS OUT NOW!!!!!!.”
Part of Maluma’s most recent album, DON JUAN, is “Gafas Negras.” The singer F.A.M.E.’s most recent album was also a 2024 Grammy Award nominee for best Latin music album.
The new song, which is produced by Madmusick and DJ Luian, was written by Jonathan Rivera, Edgar Barrera, Jhayco, Bifi, DJ Luian, and 29-year-old Maluma. The song is about two buddies having a good time in the club while all of the other people are “perreando,” or twerking.
The partners not only unveiled their new song but also its music video, which was helmed by César “Tés” Pimienta and debuted globally on MTV’s multi-platform network.
Balvin congratulates Maluma on all of his accomplishments to date as the song comes to a close. Balvin remarked, “I’m so proud of what you’ve done.” “I’m proud of you because you’re tough, persistent, and have grown to resemble my younger brother.”

In addition to collaborating on “Gafas Negras” and “Qué Pena” in 2019, the two collaborated on “X” in 2018 with Feid and Nicky Jam and on “Porfa Remix” in 2020 with Ozuna.
