Ben Affleck, husband of Jennifer Lopez, is really happy with her success.
The 54-year-old singer is having a great married life and ready for the release of her ninth album on February 16. The singer is reportedly enjoying her creative freedom as well, a source tells PEOPLE.
“This has been the perfect opportunity to concentrate on a new record. She has always enjoyed writing new music. She’s really enthusiastic about it”, the insider tells PEOPLE.
“Ben’s proud of her,” the person continues. A source reveals that, “Her biggest fan is him. He adores her diligence and attention to detail”.
The pair, who rekindled their romance in 2021 and tied the knot in July 2022, had the opportunity to spend precious family time during the holidays. According to the source, their family got along well and they enjoyed a wonderful Christmas together. They claim to PEOPLE that “their family life is great too. Every child has a good bonding with family”.
Lopez released the music video for her single “Can’t Get Enough” and her “This is Me.. Now” album at the start of January. During a YouTube Live, she expressed her admiration for the song, citing its positive energy and subtle reference to 51-year-old Affleck.

“So when we first heard this song, everyone just knew that this was the one to launch This Is Me…Now,” said the performer. “It has an energy, it has a happiness to it, and you feel it all”, added further.
Lopez said that the singer sought guidance from the Gone Girl actress for the video.
“Not that he has ever actually produced videos or something like that, but I simply depend on his thoughts and his concepts,” she said. “Nobody is more familiar with my life story or myself than he is. He certainly knows me and I believe he understands me.”
The album This is Me is available for pre-save as it will be released on February 16.
