Alec Musser, who starred in All My Children, passed away last week by committing suicide. His ex-girlfriend, Lacy Faddoul has remembered the late actor. She penned a heartfelt note for the late actor.

She started with, “Alec came into the world holding a surfboard in one hand and a pair of skis in the other. In the most delightful ways, he was competitive in his soul”.

In a letter to PEOPLE, Lacy Faddoul recalled the time they spent together and said, “I’m among the numerous individuals he taught to ski.”

She revealed that although Musser, who portrayed Del Henry on All My Children from 2005 to 2007, was a health-conscious eater, he occasionally relished treats like pizza, cookies, and root beer. He cherished surfing and motocross.

From 2011 to 2014, Musser and Faddoul dated each other for three years. They travelled to beautiful destinations like Mexico and enjoyed walks at dusk in Del Mar, California, where Faddoul would walk his dog, Callie, by their side.

Faddoul, who has starred in several seasons of The Bachelor, expressed her admiration for Musser’s drive, adventurous personality, and compassionate disposition.

She expressed her gratitude, “I appreciate you teaching me what it’s like to be in a relationship where I’m treated so wonderfully”.

She concludes, “I will love you forever, and you will shine through the sunsets forever.”

After their breakup, Faddoul stated she stayed close friends with Musser, who also made an appearance in a 2011 episode of Desperate Housewives, and that she last spoke to him in December.

She advised in a statement, “We never truly understand the depth of someone’s pain until you receive the heartbreaking news that they committed suicide. Now he is at ease”.

She also said, “Never miss down the chance to express your love and affection to the people you care about. Everything is so short.”

The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office (SDCMEO) said on Tuesday that Musser had taken his own life after a seemingly self-inflicted gunshot wound.
