Oprah Winfrey Slays in Short Skirt at Red Carpet; An Iconic Style of Late Actor and Friend Tina Turner

Oprah Winfrey chose to style in a short skirt the iconic fashion statement of the f late actor and her friend Tina Turner. She paid homage with her stunning outfit at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, wearing classic Valentino.

In an Instagram post, Winfrey said, “My first #Grammys and it was honournor my friend Tina Turner who was simply the best.” She also included pictures of herself sitting on some steps in her glittery attire.

“I took this vintage from my wardrobe as a tribute to her several well-known short skirts! With @recordingacademy,” the media tycoon continued.

Winfrey looked stunning in the pictures, donning a black sequin Valentino top, a pleated skirt that dropped to her knee, sheer black tights, and black high heels. In one photo she posted, she twirled in tribute to Turner, swishing her gown about.

Winfrey added a massive gold Valentino brand bracelet, and gold rings accessorizing her ensemble with an embroidered black purse to complete the look. 

In addition, the talk show presenter did a playful high ponytail with long extensions that were curled loosely.

At the Grammy Awards, Winfrey gave even more respect to Turner, who passed away in May of last year, as she talked lovingly about the departed singer and then introduced a magnificent musical ode to the great that included Fantasia Barrino.

In addition to posing for a picture with Lenny Kravitz, Winfrey uploaded a video of herself praising Taylor Swift, the Grammy winner who made history by winning four awards for album of the year.

A video of Oprah Winfrey meeting and holding hands with Celine Dion while they had a conversation backstage went viral after the footage. Following that picture she tweeted, “And connect with some old friends — so happy to see Celine”.
