Fans of the popular show “American Idol” be ready to witness new talent, drama and entertainment as the show is back with its 22nd season. This show returns to television screens this month. 

The long-running reality singing competition has personalities like Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Ritchie honouring as judges. Ryan Seacrest will return as presenter. This will be Perry’s final season as a judge after staying for seven seasons. She announced at “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday.

Throughout its 22 seasons of broadcasting, “American Idol” has helped numerous artists establish their careers, including Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert, Clay Aiken, and others. The show has been on the air since 2002.

Three episodes of tryouts open the season before the selected group of singers gets the much-desired trip to Hollywood. ABC will debut Season 22 of “American Idol” on Sunday, February 18 at 8 p.m. EST. Every Sunday, there will be new episodes. Audiences can enjoy the Live broadcasts of “American Idol” available on ABC. If missed the live broadcast, then you can watch the episode on the following day on Hulu.

For Season 22, judges Lionel Ritchie, Luke Bryan, and Katy Perry will be back to entertain and rate the performances. In addition, Ryan Seacrest, who has hosted “American Idol” for almost all of the seasons, is back to host the show.

Season 22 of “American Idol” will be Perry’s final season as a judge, she revealed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” She said to Kimmel that she had “some things planned for this year,” which incperformingrmance at the Brazilian music festival Rock in Rio, as the other judges were aware.
