Hollywood TV Star, Kim Kardashian had launched the mobile game back in 2014 which was available for I-phone and Android users. But recently the news spread that the game is now not available for downloading.
The game starring the famous reality TV star, is set to shut down after nearly a decade since its release.
Back from 2014, players have had the opportunity to live out their A-list dreams, boosting their fame and climbing the social ladder through the virtual world. The game even featured appearances from Kim’s family members, including Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner, adding an extra layer of excitement for fans.
However, in a statement to BBC Newsbeat, Kim revealed the closure, expressing her eternal gratitude and admiration for the game’s community.
The actress known for her role in “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” collaborated with mobile gaming developer Glu to bring Hollywood scenarios to reality for fans. The game was free to play, but players had the option to purchase in-game currency called K-stars, which allowed them to make a significant impact through various events, modeling gigs, and dating experiences.

“I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has loved and played Kim Kardashian: Hollywood over the past 10 years,” Kim expressed sincerely.
Sheed further expressed her gratitude for making a special place in heart. But she believes it is now time to redirect her energy towards other passions.
As of now, the game has been removed from both Apple and Android app stores. However, existing players can still enjoy its features until April 8th. Recent screenshots of the game reveal a countdown timer, signaling the imminent shutdown.

Hollywood Game managed to overcome its critics and reportedly generated over $160 million in revenue. Gaming site Polygon even recognized it as one of the top 100 games of the decade, praising its unapologetic focus on catering to young women.
