Jordan Nichole Wall is an actress and influencer based in Los Angeles, California. As a Down syndrome actress, she is proving that there is no stopping someone with talent and determination. I was honored when Jordan took time from working for this interview about her start in the business and her thoughts on social media and networking in the industry.
How did you get into acting?
My mom signed me up for acting classes through Down Syndrome Association Los Angeles when I was 9 years old. She wanted me to make friends with other kids with special needs. That’s where I learned to act and met my agent.
How did your role Super Powers come about?
My agent sent me to the audition, and the director chose me!
What is your favorite moment from being on the set of Super Powers?
I had a lot of nice moments with my stage sister Kacie Ellegood, but the most fun I had was playing catch with a teddy bear with the director Chase Fritz. We had to stop when we knocked over some equipment – nothing broke, and no one was mad. 🙂
You are also a content creator. How do you come up with your content?
Most of the ideas just come from my real-life activities. My mom, my sister, and I also get ideas from movies, TV shows, and other people’s social media videos.

Do you have any advice for your followers on how to handle negative comments on their social media?
My mom tries to delete them before I see them. My mom says I actually don’t get very many. Once in a while, I might see one. My mom tells me to ignore them, but it’s hard to. My advice is to have someone delete them before you see them.
You go to a lot of red-carpet events. What has been your favorite event so far?
My favorite red carpet event is also the most recent one I went to. It was the premier of the new live-action Little Mermaid movie. It was extra fun because I went with my good friend Ava Jean Cutlip.
How important do you think networking is to a budding career?
Networking is very important because everything is more fun when people around you are already your friends. Also, when you have acting friends and production friends, you can make your own projects just for fun.
Are there any upcoming projects you can share with our readers?
I have an audition for a Disney commercial tomorrow, but I haven’t booked any upcoming projects. My mom is writing a script for a short film for my actor friends who did Bamboozled with me. She is also writing a feature film. Through our networking, we get to make our own films when I don’t have work.
