Katherine Heigl arrived after 16 years at the 2023 Emmy Awards. Years back she was seen at the award night after winning an Emmy for her performance as Dr. Izzie Stevens.
The actress reconnects with her co-stars from “Grey’s Anatomy.” Fans said, “On the Emmy red carpet, Katherine Heigl is back”.
The 45-year-old diva, dressed in the color of the season, vibrant red, walked the red carpet at the 2023 Emmy Awards on Monday, after the 2014 event.
Attending the event since 2014, she made an entrance wearing a strapless Reem Acra dress adorned with shimmering Rahaminov diamonds and a striking waist pin. She accessorized her look with a striking red lip to compliment her outfit.
She said, “I wore my shoes,” to E!’s Live from the Red Carpet. “My sparkly Louboutins.”
At this year’s event, Heigl was most recently featured in Netflix’s smash show “Firefly Lane” that will relive her moments with her co-stars from Grey’s Anatomy.
Heigl attended the Emmys in 2014 supported by her husband Josh Kelley. At that year’s presentation, she wore an Oroton purse, Christian Louboutin shoes, a vintage silk dress by John Hayles, and Chopard jewelry.
Worked for ABC medical drama, as Izzie Stevens for many years, she gained the acknowledgement in 2007 Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
At that time, she wore a white fishtail Zac Posen gown, carrying a Mary Norton handbag, matched with classic red lips, and a romantic updo while giving the retro look.
She turned down being considered for an Emmy the next year for her work on Grey’s Anatomy, which at the time became a highlight and went viral.
She said to Howard Stern in 2016 that she “wasn’t feeling good” about her work that season and didn’t submit to the Emmy panel because she didn’t think her decision would be widely known or cause a stir.
