The divorce between Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd is officially announced.

Documents acquired by PEOPLE reveal that a Nashville judge on Tuesday completed the separation between the country stars who got married in 2018. This occurs three months after Morris, citing irreconcilable differences, filed for a dissolution of marriage on October 2.

The singer of “Circles Around This Town” first filed for a divorce from Hurd on October 2, stating that they tried but could not resolve the matter. She also stated that the two started living separately on the same day.

Then, in January, the ex-couple settled all of the divorce-related matters. Based on a prenuptial agreement made in February 2018 and revised in October 2022, Morris, 33, and Hurd, 37, divided their belongings.

They also reached a parenting arrangement whereby Morris would provide Hurd $2,100 in child support each month and they would equally share their time with their 3-and-a-half-year-old son, Hayes Andrew.

Morris filed for divorce in December after she posted a TikTok video of herself performing the famous country song “D-I-V-O-R-C-E” by Tammy Wynette, complete with the line, “Our D-I-V-O-R-C-E becomes final today.”

Morris also sewed a scene from a wedding in which the man vowed to hit his fiancée whenever he had the opportunity. Over the top of the video, it said, “I would have been a runaway bride.”

In an interview with Howard Stern earlier in December, the Humble Quest singer talked candidly about her life after the breakup and acknowledged that she’s not in the appropriate “headspace” to date.

Following nearly three years of dating, Morris and Hurd got married in Nashville in March 2018. They both met in 2013 while working on a tune for Tim McGraw.
