In a recent post, the founder of Rare Beauty looked happy beside her co-stars. Two of the 31-year-old founders of Rare Beauty’s former cast members posted a group Instagram picture of the TV family hanging around on Friday, and everything looks to be in the same way it seems!
The upload by David Henrie and David DeLuise said, “The Russos coming back and added some hashtags #wizardsofwaverlyplace.”
Gomez played teenage Alex Russo in the Disney Channel series, which ran from 2007 to 2012. It followed a family of wizards and starred brothers Justin Russo (Henrie, 34) and Max Russo (Jake T. Austin). The 52-year-old DeLuise was portrayed as the patriarch of the clan, and Maria Canals-Barrera as Theresa Russo, her earthly wife and mother.
But, a 29-year-old Austin was absent from the picture.
The siblings in the four-season television series had to gain knowledge of how to use their magical powers or else they would be lost. The show also spawned two spin-off TV movies.
Deadline revealed on January 18 that Gomez and Henrie, the original cast members, will co-produce a Disney Channel sequel. Alkaio Thiele, Mimi Gianopulos, and Janice LeAnn Brown are among the new faces joining the franchise. The singer of “Love You Like A Love Song” will make an appearance as a guest star.

The Disney Channel’s official Instagram account published a close-up picture of a Wizards pilot screenplay with a toy wand placed over it on the same day that Deadline broke the story.
The caption read, “Waverly Place.”
“Be ready for the Russo family to reintegrate into your family, we’ve grown, though!” Henrie added in the comment area, “2024, the year comes back.” Henrie posted a picture of himself and Gomez smiling with the new cast members on his Instagram Story earlier this week.
