What’s your typical songwriting process like?
“My songwriting process is very simple: I start by writing the lyrics as I listen to my heart and imagine them structured in a song because, for me, the lyrics are the basis of a song. Then, when I have the lyrics, I investigate and find suitable music for them.”

Then, when I have the lyrics and the music, I present them to my musicians and producers, and together, we give it the final form, each giving their opinion and idea to the song because, for me, teamwork and listening to the opinion of others is essential.

What’s the most challenging part of creating new music for you?
The most challenging part is writing the lyrics because they are the most important thing to me, and I write them when my heart tells me to.

Let’s talk about your latest EP/album/single. What’s the story behind it? What inspired this project?
The story of my album is a journey into my heart and soul, reflecting on the happy moments of love I have experienced, the moments of suffering I have had to live through, and unrequited loves or loves that have only existed in my mind.

Is there a specific theme or message you want to convey through this release?
The only thing is that love is still present in the heart of each person even though we sometimes suffer and that someone once loved us
Can you walk us through the process of creating this project? Are there any memorable moments from recording or writing that stand out?
This album was born because I loved a woman and gave her my heart, but she never told me she was married. I found out by chance when I met her with her husband, and then I expressed all the mixed feelings I had in this album.
Are there any particular tracks on the EP/album that you feel especially connected to, and why?
At my level, Deseada Locura because I talk about the three-way relationship that I lived without knowing it with that woman, and Te Hablo because it is a song in which I put the learning process that I lived when I spoke to that person about everything and she only answered I love you

How has your music evolved since you first started? Have there been any significant changes in your style or approach?
The theme of my music remains the same: love. At the sound level, I don’t follow any trend because I try to maintain my line.
What have you learned about yourself as both an artist and a person through your musical journey?
I have learned that the artistic world is subjective, that all expressions of art have their place, and that it is very important to be yourself and maintain your values because, as an artist, you owe yourself to the public. Thanks to the public, you can make music, and I always respect the public.
Do you have any specific goals or areas you want to explore musically in the future?
My goal is to keep the public happy, sing, and make music until the public wants it. I would also like to collaborate with other artists by composing songs for them.

The main challenge for me in every era is to respect the public, which allows me to sing and make music and remain faithful to my values and identity, and that is the main advice I give emerging artists: to respect the public.
Who are your biggest musical influences right now, and how do they inspire you?
I have always liked the great Spanish-language balladeers of the 1970s and the English-language groups and soloists of the 1980s, all for the depth of their music, lyrics, and interpretations.

What’s the best feedback or message you’ve received from a fan?
I connect with my fans on social media; I usually reply when they write to me, and also at concerts, I talk to them because, thanks to them, I am making music. I listen to and read all the reviews, both positive and negative, because everything helps you grow as a person and as an artist and the best comment was a fan who wrote to me telling me that thanks to guessing one of my songs on a TV show she won a large amount of money that helped her fix personal problems and that made me very happy.

What can we expect next from you? Do you have any upcoming projects, tours, or collaborations in the works?
I am currently promoting this album, Desde mi Silencio, and preparing and recording a new album in English. I am also starting filming a period film as an actor in January.

If the public loves me, I will continue singing and talking about love.

What advice would you give to young or emerging artists trying to break into the industry
The primary advice I give them is to respect the public and be humble with the public because, thanks to the people, we are artists.
Are there any mistakes you’ve made or lessons you’ve learned that you’d like to share to help others on their journey?
At some point in the past, I was dazzled by people’s names, and when you meet them, you realize that they are people like everyone else with virtues and defects.

If you could collaborate with any artist, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
I want to collaborate with Paul McCartney because of his sensitivity when composing. I would like to sing a duet with A-ha because of its wonderful sound, Jlo because of her strength and sensitivity, and Blondie because of her strength and sensitivity. I would also like to do a duet with a film actress like Jennifer Anniston because of her joy.

Outside of music, what other passions or hobbies do you have? How do they influence your creative work?
I like walking by the sea and doing sports outdoors; it relaxes me a lot. I also read a lot of historical novels, and being with my friends and family helps me recharge my batteries.
