On January 19, the son of the ‘Pawn Stars’ celebrity, Adam Harrison passed away at the age of 39. Adam Harrison, the son of Pawn Stars actor Rick Harrison died, and the cause of death has been confirmed. Laura Herlovich, Rick’s agent, tells PEOPLE that overdose of fentanyl caused his death.

TMZ was the one who broke the story first. After the demise news went viral,all that was known was that Adam had overdosed. Additionally, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department verified to TMZ that his death was still under investigation.

“Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam,” Herlovich said in a statement released at the time with the Las Vegas Review-Journal on behalf of the Harrisons. “We beg for discretion while we process this big family loss.”

Rick posted a picture of the father and son together on Instagram along with the message, “You will always be in my heart! I adore you, Adam.” On Tuesday, Rick also posted some old family pictures with his son, noting “Amazing memories” next to each picture.

Adam was Rick and Kim’s second child. He is Corey Harrison’s younger brother. Rick remarried Tracy, his second wife, and the two of them share a son named Jake.

Adam did not show up with Rick and Corey on Pawn Stars. Adam did, however, apparently work at Gold & Silver Pawn prior to the 2009 debut of the unscripted show.
