Back on Saturday, Musser’s fiancee, Paige Press shared the actor’s death news on Instagram along with some pictures.
At that time the cause of death was unknown, but now the reason has been determined.
The report is confirmed by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office that the star fame for All My Children died by suicide. There was an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The star was found at his place located in Del Mar, California. As per the statement released. His fiancee confirms that, before going to bed he was alive and the next morning, I found him on the bathroom floor with a firearm identified as a shotgun nearby.
After that when law enforcement and paramedics arrived on the scene, Musser was declared dead and his official cause of death was suicide at the age of 50.
On Saturday, when his fiancee shared this news on Instagram she wrote, “RIP to the love of my life,” along with some pictures posted as a carousel post. She added further, “I will never stop loving you”
The actor was famous for portraying the role of Del Henry on the ABC soap opera All My Children from 2005 to 2007. They also played some roles in Rita Rocks and the TV movie Road to the Altar in 2009, and on ABC’s Desperate Housewives in 2011.
Adam Sandler and Salma Hayek Pinault expressed grief in an individual Instagram post.
Hayek Pinault, shared an image from their scene in question on Instagram with a quote “in loving memory of Alec Musser.”

Further said, “He was professional, kind, loving and a person with a good sense of humour”.
She wrote that she is grateful that she got the chance to meet him, and his early departure has broken their hearts.
She added, “My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones for this great loss”.
Adam Sandler also expressed his sorrow on Instagram by saying, “He was a noble, caring and a professional man. I loved this guy. It’s unbelievable that he’s gone. I’m giving him and his family condolences”
