A news source confirmed that Max discontinued The Flight Attendant after playing in two successful seasons.

The Kaley Cuoco-led show’s “The Flight Attendant “ first season aired on the streaming service in 2020, and the second season followed in 2022. The drama, which was based on the same-titled novel by Chris Bohjalian, also stars Rosie Perez, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz, and Zosia Mamet.

Cuoco said in a statement provided to PEOPLE, “What started out as an attention-grabbing book cover quickly evolved into an extraordinary flight of a lifetime.”

She continued, “I always saw TFA as an episodic series and thanks to an amazing creative team, we succeeded in giving viewers two exciting seasons.”

“Playing Cassie turned out to be a dream that has come true for me personally, and I am extremely thankful to all those who helped bring this incredibly original series to life,” she shared.

He remarked, “The Flight Attendant was a true passion project and the response from both critics and viewers was pretty stunning.” “People were drawn to our unique extravaganza of a performance. Those two television seasons and the amazing team of experts behind them will always remain at the top of my list, even as we all move on to new ventures.

In 2021 and 2022, Cuoco was nominated for two Emmy Awards for her portrayal of Cassandra “Cassie” Bowden, a volatile flight attendant involved in a murder. In 2021, she received another nomination for her EP position.

“This has been the most significant achievement of my career,” she said in an interview upon receiving her first nomination. “My heart grew as the news was revealed. However, I believe I’ve already achieved it.
