Kelly Clarkson enjoys Miley Cyrus‘s hit songs! During her Kellyoke segment on Tuesday, the host of a daytime talk program sang a song by 31-year-old Cyrus.

Before her studio audience, 41-year-old Clarkson sang a cover of Cyrus’ 2023 smash song “Jaded.” The American Idol winner opened her rendition of the song with, “I don’t wanna call and talk too long. I know it was wrong, but never said I was sorry and Now I’ve had time to think it over. We’re much older and the bone’s too big to bury.”

During the performance, Clarkson donned a multicolored, color-block outfit while her band performed behind her. To create the positive aura, the studio lights were turned to a soothing purple.

On a YouTube video that was posted, a commentator said, “The covers just keep getting better and better!”. Clarkson has sung one of Cyrus’ most recent songs twice this month.

The “Since U Been Gone” hitmaker sang “Used to Be Young” on January 11 during the Kellyoke segment, another current song from Cyrus’ repertoire.

In an attempt to promote their upcoming albums, Cyrus and Selena Gomez, another Disney Channel alum released a nostalgic joint project at the time. A vintage video of the 31-year-old Gomez playing competitor Mikayla Skeech on an episode of Cyrus’ popular television series Hannah Montana was involved.

The songs “Jaded” and “Used to Be Young” are both featured on Cyrus’ most recent studio album, Endless Summer Vacation, which was made available in March 2023. Cyrus marked a year since the release of her single “Flowers” on January 13. Prior to the release of the new album, this song was the first single.
