Tony Romo calls Taylor Swift

There is nothing like “Bad Blood” between Tony Romo and Taylor Swift. The NFL pundit, 43, and the singer, 34, were overheard catching up following the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. They were seen having conversations about their “different” skill sets. The catch-up comes weeks after Romo twice mispronounced Swift’s name as Travis Kelce’s wife by mistake, rather than his girlfriend.

Swift, Romo, and Travis’ mother Donna Kelce engaged in post-game banter on the field at M&T Bank Stadium in a video that was uploaded on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Sunday.

“Well, aren’t we doing very different things?” Swift turned to face Romo and grinned as she spoke – “The expertise is different”. “Absolutely”, Romo answered. Then, the two offered a cordial fist bump to one another.

When Romo was making comments during the Chiefs’ game against the Buffalo Bills on December 10 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, he initially thought Swift was Travis’ wife.

“As you see, Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, in the audience, I’m sorry,” Romo remarked as the camera swung from Travis, 34, to a beaming Swift in the seating area. He then pronounced “Girlfriend!”. A second corrected him on Wife’s comment, “Not yet,” giggling over Romo’s error.

A campaign to Swift as she rose in the stands and applauded for Travis in an Instagram video that ESPN had shared at that point.

In the video, Romo stated, “And his wife enjoys it, I mean, girlfriend.” Broadcaster Jim Nantz retorted, “You’ve gone along that path with that before.” After the win, Swift was seen kissing boyfriend Travis on the field in delight of his triumph.
