King Charles visited his daughter-in-law in the hospital, in London. King Charles supports and greets Kate Middleton as she undergoes abdominal surgery.
PEOPLE are aware that on Friday, the 75-year-old King paid a visit to the 42-year-old Princess of Wales, who is healing from surgery before King Charles‘s procedure to treat an enlarged prostate.
Charles was seen arriving at the London Clinic, the same medical facility where Kate had surgery on January 16, along with Queen Camilla. The King was admitted to a hospital in London on Friday for “scheduled treatment,” according to a statement released by Buckingham Palace.
On January 17, a statement from Kensington Palace revealed Kate’s operation. “The surgery was successful, and it is expected that she will remain hospitalized for ten to fourteen days, before coming home to continue her recovery,” said the statement. “Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”
“The Princess of Wales expressed her regret to everyone for rescheduling her planned events. She wants to return as soon as her health allows her or say as quickly as possible,” they continued.
As his wife heals from her surgery, William reportedly intends to spend as much time as possible with her. He is balancing the daily chores, tending his wife along with raising their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, at home in Windsor.
