Peter Crombie, who was most recognized for his role in House of Frankenstein and Seinfeld, passed away at the age of 71.
This week, the actor’s ex-wife confirmed this news on Instagram.
On Wednesday, Crombie’s ex-wife Nadine Kijner shared the grief that her husband passed away and expressed “shock and extreme sadness” on Instagram.
Kijner started the post by saying, “I share the news of my ex-husband’s death this morning with shock and extreme sadness.”
She continued, “Thank you for being such a good man and for so many amazing memories. Kijner opened her homage with, Fly free into the Unboundless source of light, Peter.”
She shared pictures of herself and Crombie from their wedding album along with a caption. In one image the couple was seen kissing beneath a tulle-decorated white altar and embracing during their wedding celebration.
In another image, they were seen offering her a piece of cake on their wedding day.
As Kijner informed the TMZ on Friday, he died on Wednesday morning after a brief illness. Till now, there is no other information regarding his death.
About his career, he was a popular face of Seinfeld the popular sitcom from 1992 to 1993. He has achieved 35 TV and film acting appearances till now.
After learning of the late actor’s passing, friends expressed their grief on social media.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, comedian and friend Lewis Black posted, “Am heartbroken by knowing the news of my good friend Peter Crombie passed away.”

A friend posted on Facebook quoting “People who know him well, acknowledge the fact that he was a kind and caring man. He was an amazing actor and a writer who won many hearts. Rest in Peace”, dear friend.
“You were loved by many people and you will always stay in their hearts,” his wife said in her conclusion in a post”.
