In Melbourne, Taylor Swift surprised her admirers! She pulled out her guitar for a medley of “Getaway Car,” “August,” and “The Other Side of the Door,” the pop superstar surprised fans with a rare performance of three Swiftie-beloved songs mixed into one on Saturday at the second straight Eras Tour stop in the Australian city.
The 34-year-old performer has been adding unexpected selections to each track list on the Eras Tour; these selections typically include two songs that she doesn’t typically perform live.
Nonetheless, Swift’s unexpected segment on Saturday, at her second performance in the city, began with a mash-up of the three songs that her fans loved most from her albums Fearless, Folklore, and Reputation.
Before the song, Swift reportedly said to her fans, “I genuinely wish you to be cheerful cause your support makes me elated,” according to a fan-recorded video.
She continued, “So I thought you might want to listen to this one, let me know anyway.”
Swift began her performance midway through the song “Getaway Car,” joking with the audience that she had “chosen correctly” with her secret tune. She was wearing a red dress and an acoustic guitar.
The crowd erupted into more than ever screams as she went into the chorus of her Folklore highlight, “August,” about halfway through. She then again caught them off guard with “The Other Side of the Door.”

Swift performed “This is Me Trying” on the piano for the duration of her unexpected set, which included another song that fans aren’t accustomed to seeing on the playlist.

One of the songs on Swift’s new album, “Clara Bow,” which bears the name of the well-known late actress, is scheduled to be released in April. Nicole Sisneros and Brittany Grace Bell, Bow’s great-granddaughters, told PEOPLE that they were taken aback when Swift disclosed the tracklist.
