Introducing her latest album, Taylor Swift has more surprises for her admirers. The 34-year-old pop sensation teased a new edition of The Tortured Poets Department on Friday, which would include a bonus song titled “The Bolter.” Swift revealed the information in an Instagram photo that seemed to include a new front cover for the album, which is scheduled for release on April 19.
The singer of “Cruel Summer” scribbled “File Name: The Bolter ” next to the album cover. “For a limited time, pre-order THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT’s new edition on my website and receive an exclusive bonus track.”
The announcement of Swift’s eleventh studio album was made during the 2024 Grammy Awards when she accepted the prize for “Album of the Year” for album Midnights.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the Recording Academy members for their vote. However, I’m aware that the Recording Academy’s vote reflects the ardor of the public,” Swift remarked in her winning speech.
She revealed, “So I would like to express my gratitude to the audience by revealing to you a secret that I have been holding from you for the last two years, which is that my brand new album comes out on April 19.”
The “Karma” singer continued, “It’s called The Tortured Poets Department.” She is presently on her Eras Tour in Australia. She concluded her award speech, “I’m going backstage right now to upload the cover. I’m grateful. I cherish you”.
Recently, she completed the first part of her “Eras Tour” in Tokyo, Japan which was a hit. At present she is entertaining the afns of Melbourne, Australia.
