Geraldine Viswanathan is, quite literally, realizing our greatest fantasies with chuckles. The actor narrates the story during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers of meeting Taylor Swift at Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff’s wedding. Geraldine and Margaret co-starred in the movie Drive Away Dolls. She returned home with the singer’s handbag as a memento.

Geraldine pulled out a picture of herself smiling next to Taylor and holding up a pocketbook, and she gave the late-night TV show a detailed explanation of the situation.

“Why are you holding up a bag like you’re on QVC?” Meyers questioned the performer.

She actually started laughing when she said, “Funny you ask.” “When Taylor was leaving the studio where I was hanging out with Margaret and Jack, Jack asked her, ‘Taylor, have you met Geraldine?'” She appears alongside Margaret in the film.

The singer was then praised by the actor, who said that she was “so nice” and that she “cannot wait” to see their new film. Geraldine then gushed about Taylor’s purse at the precise time, which elicited a genuine laugh!!!!!! reaction. “Thanks,” she said. Are you interested in it?’ and I was kind of like, ‘What?'”

Over the years, Tay and Jack, also known as the full-on matchmaker in Geraldine’s story, have been friends and collaborators for a very long time and have shared many wonderful times. The “Anti-Hero” singer received a heartfelt shoutout from the producer the last time he won the Grammy for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical.

“You need someone to kick open a door for you, and at different times in my life, different people have done that for me. All the early bands I was in, my parents, who said, “Yeah go play music, we’re not gonna give you a hard time,” Jack started his touching remarks.
