Actor Adan Canto dies at the age of 42 due to appendiceal cancer. The actor was recently diagnosed with cancer. Adan Canto, famous for his role on The Cleaning Lady and Designated Survivor, has lost his life to the cancer ailment.

“A 42-year-old was going through the ailment privately” according to the according to The Wrap.

A representative of Canto said “Adan was a truly spirited man that few truly knew. Those who glimpsed it were changed forever,”

Entertainment360 and Viewpoint said, per Deadline. “He will be greatly missed by so many.”

Also, Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment shared a heartfelt statement on Canto’s death, expressing how they were “heartbroken” to learn of the bad news.

They gave a quote, “A best actor and friend, we were honored to have him as part of the Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment families since his U.S. debut in The Following more than a decade ago,” the statement read.

Recently he was seen in the show Cleaning Lady, where he gave a powerful performance that showcased his artistry, range, depth, and vulnerability,”

They added further, “This is an incomprehensible loss, and we mourn in grief with his wife Stephanie, their children, and loved ones. Adan will be missed badly”.

The wrap shared that before he joined acting in Hollywood, he was a singer-songwriter in San Antonio, Texas, and Mexico City. He performed as the lead singer of the band Del Canto.

Also, Behind the camera, Canto directed and produced two short films, Before Tomorrow in 2014 and The Shot in 2020, per his IMDb page.
