On Friday, the press conference was arranged where Travis Kelce commented on the speculations about his brother Jason’s retirement, “It came to light that he had retired, but he really said nothing about it,”
Calling Jason Kelce retired is not fair.
Days after rumors started to circulate that the 36-year-old football center is retiring after the Philadelphia Eagles defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, his brother Travis Kelce has cleared the rumors.
During a press conference held on Friday, Travis told reporters, “It popped out that he has retired, and he actually did not disclose anything about that.” Travis Kelce says his brother Jason “still got some football left.”
The tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs stated, “It’s been cool to see everybody appreciate who he’s been over the years this past week, but I think the big guy still got some football left if he wants it.”

Jason stated that he is still unsure about when he would retire from the NFL during his own interview with the media on Wednesday.
“I’m not sure, but one of the best things about the off-season is that it’s unplanned. It’s evident that my brother is still participating in the playoffs. I may get the chance to attend one of his games this week, as I don’t frequently get to watch him play,” Jason remarked.

Jason stated that he is “not trying to be dramatic” about his choice or drag things out on the most recent episode of his podcast, New Heights. “Too much emotion is present right now. Too much is happening right now for me to completely understand that choice.”
Fans may anticipate an official statement from the NFL player himself if Jason decides to retire.
“I believe there will be a clear announcement made when the time comes to make public announcements about future plans. Regarding the people who have had great significance for me and the factors that have shaped my career”, Jason stated on the podcast.
