Amanda Elizabeth Davies, the actress Erika Slezak’s daughter from “One Life to Live” passed away at the age of 42. The news was confirmed by PEOPLE.
“I am really saddened to inform you of the sudden demise of Erika’s daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Davies. The family is devastated and would like to have some personal space at this time, according to a statement posted on Slezak’s official website.
Davies passed away, a Slezak representative also told PEOPLE. The cause of death is not revealed yet.
On ABC’s One Life to Live, Davies portrayed Victoria “Viki” Lord, the adolescent daughter of her real-life mother. She appeared in flashback segments on the long-running show in 2003.
Brian Davies, the father of Davies, is also an actor who has acted in movies such as Convoy, The Age of Innocence, American Gigolo, and others. Michael Davies (44) is also the son of the couple.
The 1968–2012 run of the soap opera ended in cancellation, however there was a brief return in 2013.
Throughout her decades-long performance of Viki, Slezak won six Daytime Emmy Awards for the part. The late Walter Slezak, an actor who won a Tony Award and appeared on One Life To Live, is Slezak’s father.

After learning of Davies’ passing on Monday, television journalist Michael Fairman said, “I know how much she loved her children,” in a post on X(former Twitter). A picture of Davies and Slezak grinning together was posted with the above caption in his tweet.
Additionally, Slezak expressed her “love and deepest sympathies” to Kylie Evans, the daughter of Evans, and her husband Stephen Rodriguez, who “were her whole life.”
“When she and Steve got married and then got Kylie, it seemed her life was finally complete,” Slezak stated. “She was ecstatic. This incident is really, really sad.”
