Clementine Lea is not only a full-time High School student, but also a content creator and entrepreneur in Los Angeles. Currently, Clementine is working on designing products for her online boutique as well as networking at red carpet events. I had the pleasure of interviewing this young creator about all her upcoming projects.
Thank you for taking the time for this interview with me! What is your favorite thing about being a content creator?
I like creating content that people will relate and react to. I also love the lifestyle as I get to go to a lot of cool events!
I see you attend a lot of different exciting events. What has been your favorite event so far?
That’s a tough question because there were so many but probably the “Call of the Wild” premiere where I had the chance to meet Harrison Ford and Omar Sy!
If you were not a content creator what do you think you would be doing?
I’d probably be doing a sport such as cheerleading or I’d be more involved in afterschool enrichment programs like art or musical theater.
You are also an entrepreneur with your own website featuring curated clothing and jewelry. Tell us more about your online shop.
I’ve had my shop since early 2021 curating my own styles but I’m currently working on launching new products and expanding my collection to things other than just clothes.
How do you choose the products that you add to your website?
So far, I have picked out items that match my personal style working with different suppliers abroad. I try to pick trendy clothes that my friends and I would wear.
What are some of your favorite products on the site?
I love my summer dresses such as the pink & orange strapless dress. I am also still a big fan of the corsets that are timeless pieces!
How would you describe your style?
My style is very basic but in a good way: I like simple and neutral pieces of clothing, but I love styling them with more colorful items, such as shoes, accessories and jackets. I just like going for a clean aesthetic.
What fashion advice would you give to young fans?
Always have basics of everything so that every time there are new trends you can always use them to craft your look. For example, blue or black denims, neutral color shirts.
You are currently designing your own products for your website. Talk us through that process.
I am in the process of picking out new suppliers for a new product that I want to launch:) I picked out three suppliers to try out and ordered few samples to test out the quality! Then once I make my selection, I’ll start production!!
