Izabellah Diez is an actress, micro-influencer, and competitive Cheerleader in Los Angeles, California. After an injury temporary derailed her Cheer career, she turned to acting. Now, her career is really taking off with several new projects set to release in the coming months. I was able to catch up with Izabellah to ask her about her latest project “My Father’s Finance’” Here’s what she has to say!

Thank you for interviewing with me Tell us about your upcoming project “My Father’s Fiancé”.

OMG! I’m so excited for this project! I play Jenny, who is the daughter of a millionaire who falls for a woman. It turns out that the woman is only after his money, and she plans to get rid of my father and myself to keep his fortune.

What was the audition process like for that role?

This was a new one for me. I actually met the director, Michael Feifer on the set of another project we worked on together in October of 2022. “Gacy: Terror in Suburbia” coming in May to streaming platforms.
Fast forward to January 2023, and I received a call from Michael Feifer, himself. He told me he had the perfect role for me… and it’s the lead in his new film “My Fathers Fiancé” As you can guess I was over the moon with excitement and was more than happy to except the role.

How is your character most like you? How is she different?

Jenny is most like me because we are both strong and witty. We don’t let people take advantage of us. Jenny and I are really not that different.

What is your favorite moment from that film?

That’s a hard one because there were so many amazing scenes, it’s hard to only pick one. If I have to pick, I will say it is the kidnap scene at the truck yard. I spit in my kidnapper’s face… and you can guess how well that went. OUCH!

You are also in the film “Gacy: Terror in Suburbia”. Tell us about your role in that film.

Oh Yes! I’m excited for “Gacy: Terror in Suburbia” I play Jessica, she’s a good friend to Bobby, who is played by my real-life friend Mason McNulty. Jessica is worried about Bobby getting to involved with John Wayne Gacy and what John has happening across the street.

What type of role do you like more — comedy or drama? Why?

I really liked drama like my last role as Jenny in “My Fathers Fiancé”. There were so many intense scenes, very different from what I have ever done. The drama in this film, is crazy and I loved every minute of filming this movie.

If you could act in a film with anyone alive or dead who would that be and why?

This is such a hard question but obviously Jenny Ortega, Julia Roberts & Megan Fox. These women are amazing actresses and I love how they dive into their characters and create something that you cannot take your eyes off the screen.

When you are not on set what do you love to do to relax?

When I’m not on set the way I relax is through my competition cheer team. I find it very soothing to do the work. I am always doing something, and I am never afraid of hard work.

Do you have any upcoming projects you can talk about?

I am in talks for a couple of other projects that I cannot talk about just yet. But as soon as I can, I will!
