Jennifer Aniston black dress at 2024 People's Choice Awards Night!

Jennifer Aniston at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards maintained her iconic fashion style. The 55-year-old actress did not walk the red carpet, but when she took the stage in a strapless black dress to present Adam Sandler with the People’s Icon Award, it was one of the most memorable moments of the evening. The Friends star wore an ankle-strap shoe and a delicate necklace to accessorize her modest ensemble, which included pleats on the sides and an asymmetrical hemline that fell above her knee.

The complete circle event occurs four years after Aniston, who went on to win her own award for Drama TV star of the Year in November 2019 for her work on The Morning Show, did so later in the program. She also debuted a sleek, shoulder-grazing lob that seemed a little shorter than the ’90s-inspired look she debuted on January 7 at the Golden Globes.

Aniston’s longtime friend and stylist Chris McMillan stated on Instagram that he wanted to give her a “sexy, natural, and effortless” cut with “invisible layers” trimmed throughout after her Globes hair caused a stir. As Aniston honoured Sandler with the trophy, the 57-year-old actor’s friendship came to her mind.

“I’m here tonight to honor my very close friend. My sibling by a different mother. And incredible spouse, parent, and one of your closest friends forever,” Aniston started. “The People’s Icon, Adam Sandler!”

Regarding her close friendship with her co star in Murder Mystery, Aniston said, “Being his friend has been one of the great joys of my life.” She continued, “I’m proud to acknowledge tonight, and I’d happily keep honoring him for decades and in future because he deserves all the love in the world.”
