Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck celebrate the pre-valentines date night. The pair stepped up on the red carpet together on Tuesday night at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles for the debut of her new Amazon original series “This Is Me…Now: A Love Story”.
The 54-year-old Lopez put on a strapless dress from Zuhair Murad’s Fall/Winter 2022 Couture Collection that was illuminated in black and silver. The V-neck of the velvet bodice dipped sharply to sit just over her waist. Her hands were surrounded by a long, matching pair of fingerless black velvet gloves that ended just below her shoulders.
A tiny black leather clutch, a set of knotted drop earrings, and a few big silver rings complimented her entire outfit. Her glam consisted of peachy nude lip gloss and a dark grey eyeshadow look that was accentuated by her heavy black eyeliner. She styled a soft, free blow-out with a side part to finish off the getup.
For a luxurious date night, Lopez and Affleck, 51, gathered at L.A.’s Dolby Theatre of the singer’s latest cinemendeavoureavor, which will debut on Amazon Prime on Oct. 16 in conjunction with her album, This Is Me… Now. Fans can anticipate a “narrative-driven cinematic odyssey, steeped in mythological storytelling and personal healing,” according to a press statement.
Derek Hough, America Ferrera, Fat Joe, and Xochitl Gomez are among the other celebrities present at the red carpet debut on Tuesday.
The forthcoming album This Is Me…Now by Jennifer Lopez is a follow-up to her 2002 album This Is Me…Then. This Is Me…Now: A Love Story is a musical and visual retelling of the real events that inspired Lopez.
The film has taken a long time to complete, according to Lopez, 54, who stated at a press conference last week that her real-life romance with Affleck, 51, motivated her to finish it. It has appearances from celebrities like Trevor Noah and Jane Fonda.
“I was like, ‘I don’t do this, I don’t write.'” “You do everything,” he said, including writing, directing, producing, choreographing, and more. She remembered Affleck asking her to “start stepping into that, start owning a little bit of who you are.”

During the press conference, director Dave Meyers mentioned how much of the film’s direction was inspired by their rekindled romance. He specifically mentioned a scene in which she was seen working hard as a construction worker at a heart factory.
