Jennifer Lopez‘s most recent costume acknowledges her history. This Is Me…Now: A Love Story, which the 54-year-old singer is playing at the AMC Bay Plaza Cinema in the Bronx region of New York City turned heads on Thursday.
Nowadays, as Lopez promotes her freshly released autobiographical Amazon musical by parading in a carousel of glitzy JLo ensembles, her fashion pays homage to the viral ‘mob wife’ trend.
She wore three completely different ensembles when she went out earlier on Thursday in New York City to promote her next movie, which contributed to the trend of “mob wives” on TikTok.
The “Jenny from the Block” singer appeared to be paying homage to her legendary early aughts look by sporting a black leather baseball cap and an antique blue Donna Karan Collection jumpsuit.
Lopez paired wearing black leather gloves, black shoes, and a matching duster-style coat as well as the hat. She complemented the look with a variety of large silver necklaces and earrings. Lopez chose a classic full-bodied hairdo and a smokey cat-eye makeup look to go with the vintage motif.
The singer-songwriter looked amazing in an equivalent attire last summer.
Lopez wore loose, high-waisted pants that were creatively torn at the knees, along with a white cropped tank top that showed off her toned biceps and sculpted abs. She accessorized the look with her trademark gold bracelet, gold wrist cuff, and tiny beige crossbody purse. Lopez was shopping for furniture at Big Daddy’s Antiques near Culver City.
During the first promotion, Lopez was spotted in Times Square sporting a faux fur coat and cropped leggings with lace at the bottom, giving off a winter white mood.

Lopez, who is accustomed to wearing faux fur, posed for pictures in front of a sign announcing her next project. To pull everything together, she accessorized her hair in a bun and donned a pair of black, oversized sunglasses.
Lopez also shared the pictures, with Zangardi captioning them, “THIS IS ME… NOW.”
