The Hip-Hop super duo of Ty Dolla $ign and Kanye West finally released their debut studio album, Vultures, after multiple delays. First released the album featuring Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign on TIDAL. Fans are still waiting for its Spotify debut even after it eventually makes it to Apple Music.
The highly awaited hip-hop debut studio album Vultures by Ty Dolla $ign and Kanye West, collectively known as \$, was ultimately released on February 9 according to US Time.
Due to the production delays, the movie was released in February as it was earlier scheduled for release in the latter half of 2023. Experiencing yet another setback on the ‘final’ D-day, Ye’s album left his fans anxious once more.
But now that the album is officially out at least on some of the music platforms, the divisive lens may be refocused to examine other important, hotly debated topics covered in it.
The derailment of this release was mostly caused by Ye’s antisemitic remarks from the previous year. According to reports, Nicki Minaj withdrew from the album’s support system very quickly and cancelled a joint song she and Kanye West had planned to include on the album. In a radio interview, she added, “Regarding Kanye: that train has left the station, OK?”
Before the record’s release on February 8, Ye hosted a listening party for Vultures in Chicago. It was a one-hour-long event, named Vultures Listening Experience, recognized several musicians hailing from Chicago and performed West’s The College Dropout songs as the album celebrates its 20th-anniversary marHe
Ye was spotted wearing his typical all-black ensemble, which he just adopted. His black leather bomber jacket, which announced the release of Vultures Volume 1, has the number “1” emblazoned on the back.
Ye continued to wear a hockey mask, adopting the Friday the 13th Jason Voorhees look. A small group of distinguished visitors, among them North West, Kanye’s daughter, who is also featured in the song Talking / Once Again, attended the show. Two days ago, the music video was released. Other collaborators in attendance included YG and Bump J.
Ye’s most recent Vultures song, Carnival, pokes fun at Taylor once more in the same heated dialogue that “took (Taylor) down psychologically”.
“I’m the new Jesus, b****, Taylor Swift since I wore a Rollie on my wrist. West’s lyrics continue, “I turned water into Kris / This for what they did to Chris / They can’t do sh*t with this.”
