96th Academy Awards are out

Here we reveal the nominations for the 2024 batch of Oscar awards! The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences honored the actors, directors, and other artists who will be recognized for their contributions at the upcoming Academy Awards during its yearly nominees’ luncheon on Monday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Colman Domingo (Rustin), Paul Giamatti (The Holdovers), Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer), Jeffrey Wright (American Fiction), and Bradley Cooper (Maestro) are this year’s nominees under the category Best Actor.

Carey Mulligan (Maestro), Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a Fall), Lily Gladstone (Killers of the Flower Moon), Emma Stone (Poor Things), and Annette Bening (Nyad) are the nominees for the role “Best Actress”.

The nominees for Best Supporting Actress are Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer), Danielle Brooks (The Color Purple), America Ferrera (Barbie), Jodie Foster (Nyad), and Da’Vine Joy Randolph (The Holdovers). For Best Supporting Actor, the contenders are Sterling K. Brown (American Fiction), Robert De Niro (Killers of the Flower Moon), Robert Downey Jr. (Oppenheimer), Ryan Gosling (Barbie), and Mark Ruffalo (Poor Things).

Ten first-time nominees in the acting categories are among this year’s Oscar statuette hopefuls: Blunt, 40, Brooks, 34, Brown, 47, Domingo, 54, Ferrera, 39, Gladstone, 37, Hüller, 45, Murphy, 47, Randolph, 37, and Wright, 58.

American Fiction, Anatomy of a Fall, Barbie, The Holdovers, Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro, Oppenheimer, Past Lives, Poor Things, and The Zone of Interest are this year’s Best Picture candidates. 

Jimmy Kimmel will host the 96th Academy Awards, which will be broadcasted on Sunday, March 10, at 7 p.m. ET on ABC. The ceremony will take place at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles.
