Gypsy Rose Blanchard was released from prison on December 28. Now finally she has stepped to embrace her marriage to her husband, Ryan Anderson.
But they shared their experience and some doubts about their feelings for their marriage. Apart from the excitement, they also voiced concerns about how their fame might impact their relationship.
The pair were married in 2022 after meeting in 2020. Gypsy, a 32-year-old woman, acknowledges that she is concerned about how she and Ryan will handle arguments going forward. Before her release, she shared her one concern in an exclusive interview with a magazine: making sure they have good dispute-resolution skills. Gypsy characterizes herself as an impulsive person who likes to settle disputes immediately, but Ryan adopts a more thoughtful stance and needs some time to think things through before acting.
Gypsy’s relationship with the 37-year-old Anderson did not take advantage of the affection that came from text messaging, Skype, or Zoom call; instead, it was long-distance. Gypsy is happy to shift to her husband’s house to stay with her, but at the same time she also knows that it will take some time to get used to it.
She expressed her doubt that, “I have never stayed with any man in my life”. She further added to the statement that, “Growing up with only mother has caused this feeling to arise, so I never experienced having a father figure in the house. Living with a man is uncharted territory for me.”
Last Thursday, Anderson picked up Gypsy from the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri, where she had served over eight years for her involvement in the murder of her abusive mother, Dee Dee, who suffered from Munchausen by proxy.

In an exclusive conversation with media, Anderson shared their plans for Gypsy’s initial days of freedom, including preparing gumbo, showering her love with token on love, gifts, and treating her with a romantic date night.
“Gypsy has never been on a traditional date, where you go out, dine, watch a movie, or engage in any other activities,” he discloses.
However, Anderson also feels the uneasiness, while staying in the limelight.
