The twins of Jennifer Lopez don’t hesitate to express their true feelings to their mother. The 54-year-old singer talked candidly about her new album “This Is Me” in an interview with Variety. The album Now is the sequel to her 2002 release This Is Me…Then.
Maximilian “Max” David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz, her 15-year-old twins, are credited with inspiring some of Lopez’s new albums, told the outlet. Lopez was pounding an old record in the house when she saw her kids were listening.
“They said, ‘Is this you, Mommy?'” Lopez remembered. “Yeah, this is an album I made 18 years ago,” I say to myself. When I asked them if they enjoyed the next song I played, they replied in the affirmative, so I responded, “I wrote this.”
‘Yeah, we enjoy this better than the music you make now,’ they said afterwards,” she remarked, chuckling. “Sorry. However, a nice ache.”
With her former partner Marc Anthony, Lopez has twins. She is married to 51-year-old actor Ben Affleck, who has three children with his former 51-year-old girlfriend Jennifer Garner: Violet, 18, Seraphina Rose, 15, and Samuel, 11.
When discussing her 2012 “Dancing Again World Tour” with Travel + Leisure in December, Lopez mentioned that having her 4-year-old twins, Max and Emme, alongside her was one of the highlights.
She told the newspaper, “It provided children a chance to experience the world.” “The youngsters went to see South America, Europe, all over the United States, Asia, and all different places.”
She was glad to be enabled to deliver her children such a different upbringing from her own, which took place in the Bronx.

“After that vacation, they asked whether they may return to Singapore the next year. Whereas I never had anything like that growing up in the Bronx,” she remarked.
